Game UX Design
Brief from PlayGround Games to produce a menu concept for an Xbox console game.
The menu and user interface system were built from scratch with careful attention to current trends and audience demographics informing the complete build stylistically and in terms of usability to create an easy to use and memorable experience. From typography to complete aesthetic direction and with a focus on usability, particularly at a point where the use of motion control was becoming ubiquitous. The final menu design was complimented with thorough research, scamps, concept sketches, wireframes, colour theory, test feedback and audience sampling.
